Blogs are exploding all over the web! Since I started blogging 2 years ago, blogging has simply flourished! Anyone who is anybody has a blog, including us nobodies!
Blog diaries, blog politics, blog preachers, blog linkers, personal thought blogs, daily to-do blogs, daily did blogs, game blogs, quiz blogs, “about my children” blogs, just about anything you can think of… in any shape & size!
Blogosphere, as written by me, in the beginning…. February 24, 2006
This Blogosphere is very interesting – Thank you very much!
Yesterday I participated in my first Thirteen Thursday (2008: which I’m not reposting because it was about the 2006 American Idols and a little irrelavant now) but then I got busy at work and was only able to visit a few sites. Next week I hope to dedicate more time to actually leaving comments at others TT sites.
While visiting someone from the TT list yesterday I saw that there is also a “Memories Monday” and I’ve heard of “Photo Friday” too. Are there others? Is there a list created somewhere showing what is when and on which day?
My best friend Becky recently started a Blog. She started up on MSN but she just recently moved over to Tripod. (2008: she is now on WordPress) Check her out -“Beckles” (2008: She’ll probably have my ass for calling her Beckles, but thats what I wrote originally and it’s staying) – she’s a pretty cool person and reading her posts reminds me what I like about her and why we have been friends for almost 20 years (that is SO hard to believe….) It also reminds me of the many hours we used to spend reading our diaries to each other. Blogging is similar to that except the world can read along with us. Another favorite thing we used to do is play Monopoly… now we could play…
My worst part about Tripod is that when someone leaves a comment they actually have to hit “send” and then “confirm” before it will post. I find myself wondering how many people just do the “send” part and don’t confirm it, meaning their comment never posts. I have had a few people mention they have commented only to realize that their comment is actually floating somewhere in Blogosphere and never actually posted at all. (2008: Thank god I’m not with Tripod anymore…)
Wouldn’t it be fun if there were a place we could all go to find all the missing emails, documents and posts that have been lost since the beginning of time? How big do you think that place would be?
that place would be HUGE!!! And all the lost socks would probably be there, too
Hi Chrissea ! Michelle sent me !
I was as equally surprised about the power of blogging. Its a whole world of its own… who knew. Aside from the newly found opportunity to be a blogging nobody, you can also be a blogging professional. Who knew that one day you could hold a Master’s Degree to blog =).
