And…here we go!

1. I feel very tired right now!

2. Getting dolled up for a night out is always fun.

3. Right now, I can hear these things: A TV or radio somewhere in the background & my dog scratching & sighing periodically

4. Ron is home for the long weekend and I’m glad that the long weekend has finally arrived!

5. The last time I checked if my daughter was up for school yet was 10 minutes ago (& every 10 minutes for the past 3/4 hour), and she wasn’t, of course!

6. I’m going to savor every moment of this Labor day weekend.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to seeing a movie (hopefully at the drive-inn if something good is playing), tomorrow my plans include just spending all day at Ron’s and Sunday, I want to go to the big flea market in Hillsville!

It’s Friday!

1. One of the best concerts/plays/movies I ever saw that I really didn’t think I’d like was Annie. My Dad took me to see it in Boston when I was maybe 9 or 10. I had never been to a professional “Broadway” play and wasn’t all that interested, just thinking it another weekend adventure with Dad. But… it was Terrific and I wanted to be an Actress on Broadway for a long time after that!  If I had the money, even now, I’d see every professional play that came to town!

2. Squash Casserole is a recipe I recently made (or meal I recently ordered) that was delicious! Ask me for the recipee – it’s delicious!!!

3. It’s time for Samantha to leave for school (as usual, she’s pushing the getting out the door time boundaries). Yesterday  morning she told me “Mom, your invading my personal wake-up space”  That’s a new one, but I give her credit… pretty good!!

4. Swimming in our mountain river is quite refreshing.

5. If I never hear the word OMG or JK again, it’ll be too soon. Have you noticed teens are starting to talk in their “texting” slang ~ OMG!!!!

6. To one side of the curving road was Me & myself, and on the other was IOk, I had no idea on this one….

7. And as for the weekend tonight I’m looking forward to thorough cleaning as I haven’t done much housework this week at all (this is actually going to be done this afternoon, rather than tonight, although it could continue on into the night… especially the laundry), tomorrow my plans include more of the norm: blogging, reading, stitching, tv, movies and Sunday, I want to go somewhere and do something fun, but that probably won’t happen, I’m broke.  I will have some solitude though because Samantha is off to the Beach with some Youth Group.  I have the weekend mostly to myself!!
